PAINTING CLASS

Fiona Valentine is a Melbourne Artist working as a painter in oil, acrylic & watercolour.  Her expressive and detailed paintings cover a variety of subjects with landscape a particular favourite. 

A member of the Australian Guild of Realist Artists and the Victorian Artists Society, Fiona has an extensive teaching and public speaking background and a warm, enthusiastic style.

Her work has been featured on a recent episode of “Colour In Your Life” TV show and she is involved in a variety of projects in 2015 including painting during a live concert at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art and developing an Artist in Residence program with local schools.

Fiona’s classes combine a fun, inclusive atmosphere with clear, comprehensive teaching.   She builds from the basics of drawing, design and colour theory and students need no previous experience. Free to explore mediums, students then work with their choice of oil, acrylic or watercolour. Her classes provide a balance of teaching to build skills with mentoring to find and develop each person’s unique style.
